Any way at all??
 

I have the stock TP with Sprint and i was wondering if there is anything i can download or sign up for so that when someone calls me from a blocked number, it will eventually show their actual number? i know you can get it on the samsung eternity. im not sure if this has been asked anywhere else but i was just wondering... thanks.

im currently waiting on my replacement TP, otherwise id test it, but i think netcallerid does this. My moms number is blocked and normally shows up as unknown, but netcallerid shows up with it.

i tried to download it and it said ".NET Compact Framework" needs to be updated...

it probably requires .net v3.5 to be installed. Here is the cab to install it.

it successfully installed!! although when i call myself from my blocked work phone, all netcallerid says is that its blocked. it doesnt actually tell me the number ](*,).

yes its free u just download the cab from there website along with the cab provided for .NET in this thread. try it out. its not bad.

They have to say who it is then the call rings thru to my phone. If I dont hear it I ignore the call.

Nice, i use callfirewall to reject all privated calls or reject whoever in my contact list, but seems that with the google voice you find out who is calling if this person uses her/his name, sounds awesome too.

I like it plus it has speech to text for the voice mails, will ring to 3 phones on your list and you can pick your area code + # from a list. Best of all it is free, there are a few people that add the GV # to there free # on their calling plan, so then they have unlimited minutes.

I seen another service called Trapcall is not a free service but does exactly the samething, problem is this service does not work for sprint customers, this might be the case of netcallerid might not work on sprint either.

Trapcall doesnt work on sprint... i think i suggested netcallerid to the OP of yeterdays thread and he had the same issues...

and with GV, you have to enable the setting so they have to say their name before they call...

and if its a bill collector or buisness thats calling you blocked, GV still wont do any any good, well itll do good(GV is nice), but it wont help for this...

reason: people have to call your GV number, for that to be an option... any bill collector,buisness,etc, would be calling his real cell number, and not his GV number

it appears as such...

i told the guy yesterday the same thing.... if calls were easily unblockable/identifiable, itd just be a standard option one would think...

anyone know why the Trapcall doesnt work on sprint??? some mightve said yesterday, just forget i guess if it was covered
