Is anybody else waiting for the day the TP is going be replaced by the TP2?
 

I'm checking ppcgeeks everyday for someone to make a post announcing that Sprint will replace the TP with the TP2 through TEP or whatever.

:lol:

this phone really does suck though. and the amounts of complaints on this forum really shows it. I think I even like my mogul more. my keyboard isn't working again. and I don't want to replace it because it will be my third time replacing my phone through tep within a year..

arrhg.

and the back arrow hardware key is useless.

i've had a few diamonds, and few pro's, but my current one is working fine. i will get a tp2 when it comes out, just cause i can, but i really don't see much wrong with the phone after flashing a 6.5 rom. i think its going to be a while before they replace the tp with the tp2 through tep though.

the 3 in one yr, just started Aug 1st, im pretty sure... thats when asurions new deduct and terms offically went into effect...

also if you use sprints advanced exchange, thats not asurion, and it wont count against the 3 claims in 12months...

the device isnt out for sprint, so no point in checking everyday...i hope they dont trade TPs for TP2s, otherwise everyone will do what they did with the moguls and scam their way into TPs... next thing ya know the deduct went up on insurance... id like to NOT see that happen again...

and why is the "back" key useless??? maybe its just your searching abilities... use dredsensor, you can rogram all those keys, with 3 different actions each key if you want...

I like this phone. especially witha good ROM

debating on TP2...i may wait till a WinMo 7 phone comes out next yr. Then I can get the 2yr price

your on sprint... make sure your a sprint preimier member than after a yr you get the 2yr/new customer promo/upgrade price...

if your an SP member, you never have to wait 2yrs again for the full discount... its every yr your eligible for the full rebates and such

I like this phone with a stock rom! Im not having ANY of the issues so many others are so im leaning towards user error type stuff. I mean you don't put a 700 dollar phone in your back pocket (regardless of size) and expect it to last through sitting your dumb 300lb *** on it. Yea im on my 3rd one, mostly cause my first one was in the 30 days and im sure I messed up the internet part and the tech said go ahead and swap in case I didn't kill it. then I got this brand new one cause I have a good friend at the repair store that treats me right and replaced it cause they didn't have a bezel to put on it and the chrome was cracking from slamming the keyboard shut over and over.

Other than that I take good care of my stuff.

False ! im a Sprint premier customer and was told if i waited a year i would only get 75 would have to wait the full 2 years for a 150

As I interpret it, if you are a Sprint Premier customer you do get the $150 off after 1 year.

I don't know where the disconnect is but I am a premier customer and am only receiving the $75 dollar option after1a year. I don't get the full discount til year 2...

I agree, my TP has been the best phone ive ever had. It takes extremely well to modding, is durable, fast, and not too bulky. I think alot of people just dont know how to treat or properly use/modify a phone to make it last. Its like ive said before, these phones arent for everyone, and when people that have no business messign with a phone like this start messing with it, they all say its a peice of ****. The only problem ive had with mine is it didnt take kindly to being tossed in a bucket of water, and while i thought i had it all working again, after being soaked in water the hardware buttons started malfuntioning, so ive got a replacement on the way, eta tomorrow.
