New Refurb- Unlocked- Stuck in "Loading..."- HELP!

all the help you need is in a couple different stickies in the upgrade section.
are you sure you're unlocked? does it say cmonex for your spl version?

you say you're stuck in "loading", so i take it your phone is not booting up at all? if you remove your mem card and you still can't boot up, then leave it in bootloader mode and connect to computer and flash the sprint shipped rom.

your phone is locked. so, just unlock it and then you'll be able to flash the calkulin rom like you want.

funny when flashing SD and its not unlocked, you get a ROM warning for like half a sec...

..place your unlocker on your device...place the .nbh(make sure your ROM nbh isnt on there still) from the same folder as your unlocker on the root of the storage card...

now go back and click on the unlocker..it will unlock you know...

then just go back and either remove or overwrite the unlockers .nbh with the roms .nbh... make sure it says RAPHIMG.nbh

shouldnt take ya more than a few minutes

I have my unlocker in the ROOT of my phone and the ROM in the ROOT of the SD.
I reanmed it "RAPHIMG.nbh" and tried it. Still stuck in a "loading..."
Previously on my other phone( before this refurb) I had no issues...
I remember it prompting me to press the power button to load the ROM.
This head straight into "Loading..." and hangs

AHHHHHHH- Stuck in stupid......And stuck with a stock ROM......

Thanks- I didnt run the original IMG.nbh- you were right I wasnt unlocked!

Always nice to read a thread where someone has made a mistake and people actually trying to help the person without calling them or making them feel dumb. Kudos guys!

dont feel bad at all man...

i hadnt flashed a ROM, since the offical 6.1 update in like 07, and even then u didnt have to unlock... i just did my first custom Rom like a week and a half ago.. i think SD flashing is best, its simple and fast... i had a friend over the other day and had just gotten a replacement one.. i was showing him my titanium setup and he was talking about how its was a pain on his VZW Omnia to unlock and flash... i was like here, i need to do this new one, watch it take less than 2 minutes... and it didnt work, i forgot to put the unlockers ngh back on myself.. i felt dumb too...

i dont care how big your rating/post count is, we all miss the obvious or ask something that a million people think is a sinch sometimes.. glad we could help
