oem to cab
is there any program that will make a cab file out of an oem? im trying to use dcd's rom but since it is a barebones rom i have to install all the programs i want via cab or by using the kitchen. BUT since i dont know how to use bepes style kitchen, i want to use cabs. anyways, i want the latest versions of my programs but can only find them as oem packages. is there any program that will help me do a cab from an oem that is easy to use? also, a possible tutorial? ive used wince cab manager but cant figure out where the files of my oems go. any suggestions?

Re: oem to cab
i personally dont know of the programs youd need, because i dont really mess with stuff like that..
however i read alot on here, most of the oems are cabbed up if you look for em... they get requested one at a time eventually, just have to know what your looking for |
Re: oem to cab
just look at the initflashfiles.txt [oem] or the app.dat [ext]. It will tell you where the files are going.

if so what app do you use? for wince cab manager you would drag all the fixes to the files, then go to cabinet at the top>properties>installation directory: now select the Windows directory, hit okay then save the file as a cab and its ready to be installed |

Worth a shot IMO. |
