I also posted this in the energyrom thread but that thread but that thread is so full that i wanted to make another thread about this to make sure it get's answered.

i cannot get my phone to hard reset to factory default rom after installing energyrom

can someone plz help me with this? all my phone will do is go back to a default energyrom (whichever version is currently installed) when i do the key combination and press volume up on the grey screen or if i select clear storage option in settings. do i have to change something about energyrom so i can have it hard reset to the factory rom instead of hard resetting to the currently installed energyrom? :scratch:

You have to flash back to the stock ROM if you want the Stock. Right now your default is NRG and not stock.

ok thanks. this was my first custom rom so i didn't know why it was only hard resetting to nrg. thanks guys.

so if i get this right, (if i ever need to do this) if i ever need service from sprint i will need to flash to the stock rom and then relock it? should i also hard reset after the flash to make sure any possible bugs are taken out and it's just the stock rom?
