Using dialer that ## codes don't work on..need to load PRL
 

How can I load a PRL on a dialer where the ## codes don't work? I run a modified slimmed down PRL where my phone isn't constantly searching for native EVDO since we only have a pseudo native EVDO provided my Altel in my hometown. I'm travelling to a native Sprint EVDO area and need a standard PRL on my phone but I can't do the ##PRL# thing. Is there another way I can do it short of loading another ROM? I'm in the car now and really don't feel like reloading my phone.

if you are on sprint you can use update prl in the settings menu, i dont know if altell has this or not.

Yeah, I thought the Update PRL didn't work witn WM6.5 the last time I tried it. I just tried again and it updated. Now when I get back home I guess I'll have to figure how to put my modded 60610 back on since anything beyond 60610 has the nasty channel rescan SID in it, and EVDO roaming removed from some SIDs. 60610 seems to be the best of 'em all lately.

If the cab doesnt work go to file explorer>windows>epst(one with the wrench), and youll get the view/edit/cancel screen.
