Album 3.0 vs 2.?
 

I've tried too many different ROMS in the last year to even count them all. I love having the latest and greatest builds of software, but I don't feel an improvement in HTC's newer versions of their album. I may be missing something as far as gestures and such, but I liked the way the old one auto-rotated with the g-sensor, and the zoom worked much better.

Am I missing something, or is 3.0 really a downgrade to the HTC album that shipped with the TP?

Well, the pictures transitions are better in 3.0, but that's it. It's a downgrade IMHO. I like 2.5, with the social networks engine.

If you don't need the FB upload then definitely go with Album 3.0. It's just so much smoother than 2.5

Otherwise...if u want/need that FB feature get the 2.5

he can still upload to myspace,facebook,youtube,photobucket...

anyone can... that feature may be built into Album, but its also a stock feature in the phone... use the good old "pictures and videos" click a pic, press menu, Post To Service....

this operates independently of Album, so DL any album vers you want, youll still always have the social network uploading available to you..

nvermind... im have 6.5 on one of my 3 and just checked...its not an option on mine either...
