Will the Touch Pro travel charger work with iPod usb charger?
 

I was wondering whether I'd be able to charge my iPod safely if I connected my iPod usb cable to the travel charger for the Touch Pro and plugged it into the wall. I don't know the current/voltages required for each respective device, but I was hoping maybe it'd be similar?

I dont see any problems, my sister stole one of mine just for that reason!!!

Am not sure about the voltages either, but i tried that before and my ipod stopped working immediately. Fortunately i went home and formatted the thing and it started working again.

My sister has the little one (shuffle?) and has used my charger for 3 months now.

All usb chargers are the same voltage. They only have different currents which just adjust charge time.

Doesn't seem like there is a definite consensus yet.. Do you think the difference in current would be large enough to cause any detriment to the ipod itself over a long period of time?
