Windows Update not working
 
I just get a error saying "Connection to update server was not available. Check your data connection settings and ensure the device date and time are correct." Anyone know how to make this work?

did you go to comm manager>data connection and check that? if it's off, turn it on. just re-read your post. that's a good one, never had that before.

Windows update isn't really working anyway. The software is in our devices from most ROMs, but I don't think microsoft has it in place. Every time I've ever connected to it it's told me no updates available, no matter what device I've had.

i just checked mine and got the same error. maybe it's a windows thing.

I know the main Windows Update service has been having issues the past few weeks. I've experienced some slowness when attempting to update Windows XP.

Not sure if they're connected or not...

My data connection is always on. I get my work emails pushed to my phn.

Kinda what I thought. A couple of my co-workers have windows phns with stock ROMs and they're getting the same error.
