best lock program for vzw touch pro
 

i have a vzw touch pro running the newest version of SSK, what kind of programs do you guys use to lock the phone? i tried one where you roll the phone over to lock and back to unlock but it was very glitchy and commonly wouldnt unlock. Any thoughts?

your talking about slide to unlock?? never had issues myself with it not unlocking, and i use that on all 3 of my TPs..

im not sure what slide to unlock is. but the only way i can lock the screen is pressing the power button once and turning it off. how do you guys lock you phone so you dont pocket dial? i dont need any kinda of password or anything

are probably the 2 most common ways we lock our phones........and prevent pocket dialing...

and turning your backlight off.. tab power button, does NOT lock your phone standard....

**edit**reread.. u meant just flippin your phone upside down to lock it...

the locker i used utilized the g-sensor where you physically rolled the device in your hand.

I think you're referring to Sensorlock. I use that app, it's good. I do find the occassional glitch, but it only locks the screen - not the hardware buttons.

I'm using PocketShield now. It's not freeware, but it's pretty inexpensive ($6-$7). It's got all kinds of options. One of the coolest being that you can set it so the phone won't unlock on incoming calls if there's not enough light to trigger it. So it won't unlock in your pocket, case, or whatever. Then as soon as you pull it out, voila! unlocks...
