I use this in conbination with spb backup. I use spb backup for my nightly backup of course... then I get a message asking me to soft reset. I was doing this manually till I discovered that psShutXP was easily scheduled.
Long answer short... psSutXP is a great app for resets especially on my TP2 since I have to remove the battery cover to do a soft reset with the stilus. I really liked that the reset button was at the bottom of my TP.

I suggest when you use cleanRam to go with the level 3 clean and set it in the settings area to close all running programs and to hibernate. That should be just as good as a soft reset.

I checked and CleanRam does have an option to soft reset as well. Go to Customize processes list and click menu-> scheduler.

You can set the level of cleaning or flat out soft reset with customize schedule.
