RZ MultiFont Error
 

"String to replace must be at least one character

Line 41 (\Program Files\raidzero\re_multi_font.mscr):portrait=Replac e(portrait,sourcefont,chosen)"

I get this error every time I attempt to change my Titanium font. Any suggestion?

that happens when you click cancel...
i have not fixed it yet. the only resolution is to restore the backup cpr and try not to click cancel

actually if are up to it you could edit \windows\titanium_480x640.cpr and also 640x480.cpr and replace all "" with "tahoma".
when you click cancel it goes ahead and replaces all occurences of whatever font you have with nothing, so the error comes from when it does that it goes to replace again, the replace command needs two arguments and it only gets one because the variable "source" is blank...

only issue I had with Raid's cab was when I select Most Wasted as my font, my dialer is in the LED style font, and my MMS text comes up in Chaos Times. Not the SMS, just the text with MMS. not a big issue, but it happens. :)

schollianmj, if you want a cab for just MostWasted it is available in the titanium font thread. was post #216 before the threads were merged and stickied but if you go to that thread and search for posts by me you will find it.

Raid, could the script be set up to recognize " " as the first argument if someone hits cancel? I would think that would solve the issue if cancel erases the font type from the cpr.

easiest way to do it.....download the zip attached, extract the 2 files and place them in the /windows/ directory on your phone with a file explorer (must use resco file explorer or total commander not the standard one). wait a minute then soft reset and it will restore the files to normal and you can run Raid's script again.

well that will work but you might lose your configuration. I suppose it could check for an empty string and if it is, make it tahoma... we'll see. and about the other fonts changing, that is because by default windows uses built in fonts, and if it detects those in the \windows\fonts folder it will use those instead. workaround: put tahoma in \windows\fonts but name it AAAA.ttf because it uses the first font it finds. a bug in windows in my opinion..
