Call forwarding
apologize in advance, maybe someone can move this to the right area. does anyone know if sprint is any closer to allowing us free call forwarding. still the only carrier in the country to charge for this as far as i know

Re: Call forwarding
Comments from the peanut gallery:
When I got my organization's account I did not think to ask if they had free call forwarding before signing the contract and when we were rolling out all the new phones one user asked how to do call forwarding and I turned around and asked one of the Sprint tech's and they said "It's twenty cents a minute..." "What? Are you joking?" "No, that's standard across all carriers" "Well I kinda wish I asked that BEFORE I got this account of about 200 lines!" And to the user who said they were going on vacation and needed to forward their calls: "just GIVE your phone to someone else while you're away" ... I too would like free call forwarding! |
Re: Call forwarding
yeah and its NOT standard to all carriers. that is shocking that sprint would give bad information. never heard that happening before ;)

Free call fowarding would be nice...

Re: Call forwarding
Getting and using a Google Voice number would be the way to go for this one as you can set it to ring any number you want and have VVM via the data service/web browser. Still not free call forwarding but it is a free option.
