Re: barebones 6.5

I tried most of the favs here but kept re-flashing back to Copper Rom. Now i'm using DCD only cause its the only ROM that works with Vlingo voice command WM beta. If you want a Base ROM i think Copper is way to go. As close to WM Stock as possible i believe.

use Calkulin's kitchen and create you're own rom, its simple.

Read the directions.

Re: barebones 6.5

well you could just start the batch file and then when buildos loads uncheck everything and click play, when it says done (if you get no errors) close buildos and the batch file will continue creating your rom, then most kitchens load the rom update utility automatically. very simple!

if you get more adventurous go into the SYS folder and delete stuff like windowslive, entertainment, etc. I recommend rebuilding/reflashing after every edit so you know what causes it not to boot any more.

best way to learn is to get your hands dirty. I also recommend keeping a copy of the kitchen directory somewhere else for when you totally break everything :)

The erice kitchen actually has fairly easy to follow directions. Shouldn't be a problem for a first time cook.
