TP runs hot for no reason.
Hi there. i was wondering if i was the only one having this problem. I was runnin one of Silence's roms and it was great, batt life was decent, more that a day worth of light use, and it was responsive. I was also runnin the Telus radio. Now as of late my phone is runnin hot just from being in the holster and my battery is 20% before lunch time rolls around. If it helps im in NC Cherry Point area and service out here is spotty at best.

i'm having that problem but i know mine is due to the phone constantly searching for a signal.

Re: TP runs hot for no reason.
maybe your battery is damaged....
take it to a sprint repair center to check it... (or carrier you have) something like that happened to me a couple of months ago, and sprint changed the battery with no cost, i have insurance though.... |

Re: TP runs hot for no reason.
It's best to make sure there aren't any background programs running, when mine does this it's usually updating something and stays on because of the time out is set to a minute or something like that.

Re: TP runs hot for no reason.
Mine started doing that last week. Hard reset and complete reinstall (a bit more selective about my software this time around) and it's working fine again. I don't know what caused it as the only thing I had done the day I noticed it starting was pairing a Plantronics Voyager Pro headset.
Typical Windows Mobile...have to say I've seen this on every WM phone I've ever used at one time or another. |
