No problems here! And if I did have any, chances are I was tweaking or doing something I wasn't supposed to do. This is, just about everything is changeable/fixable on this phone at least from what I've done with mine.

I know sprint is now covering the warrsnty period of a year for their phones now. It doesn't cover water damage, wear and tear and if its damaged. What do you guys think would be the best option?
Its a option based on each persons opinion really. I for one love paying the $7 but it still doesn't protect you from everything but to me $7 isn't that much money.

I'm doing TEP, and it came in handy when I shattered my 6700.

I'm on a first batch Touch Pro, and haven't had any serious problems aside from software. The only annoying issue is the keyboard backlight is really poor and inconsistent.

I havent had to use TEP for any of my TP's yet and I have had a few of them.

If you pick up a TP for her, flash! Mighty's latest 6.5 build is strides ahead of stock 6.1. You might even get jealous :)

I bought my first TP the week it first came out. eventually it started going down hill I used TEP and my second one has been great for 3 months now 0 problems
