What exactly must be done to achive a hard reset on my HTC Touch Pro...Carrier Bell Mobility. What am I doing wrong...HELP!!!

StartMenu-Settings-System-ClearStorage will reset your rom/device.

Or Turn Off the Device And Press Power + Vol Down+ Center Key (Middle Of Round Button)

sometimes you'll see a clear storage tab in start>settings>system>memory

Is there a another way to hard reset my TP? I have been holding Volume down, Enter and the Soft Reset for three seconds while the phone is On and Off, but nothing is working either way. The phone just soft resets or turns on, there is no indication of a Hard Reset being preformed.

Manual hard reset - Hold Vol down and enter (center button) and push the soft reset button. Continue to hold down the Vol down and enter buttons until screen asks "this operation will delete all personal data......"

I have seen that some people say that doesn't work for sprint TP. Some say turn phone OFF, then hold VolDown, enter and press power key to get "delete data" screen.

I just got off the phone with Sprint and they walked me through doing this for my HTC Touch Pro. Here is what I did:

1) Open the phone dialer and enter ##786#
2) This opens a statistics screen with a bunch of info
3) in the lower right hand corner, click menu, then choose "Reset"
4) A pop-up will open asking for a code. They told me to enter "838424"

Pretty sure the code they mentions is the MSL code. I have a program to get that from your phone if you need it.
