Startup GIFs
 

Hiya. This is referring to the Sprint GIF (for me, idk about other carriers). It is the second screen you see when loading your TP, just for clarification.

1.)Do you guys have any cool GIF startups that you don't mind sharing...?

2.)Did you make them? If so, how?

3.)What's the best way to change it? Advanced Config has the option but I'm not exactly sure which option it is; it's slightly confusing because it has "carrier" startup and "htc" startup. So is it better to do that or just drop it in /windows?

mine arent animated but here ya go...

the first screen is called(on sprint at least) welcomehead.192.png and the 2nd screen is startup_480x640.gif

on my cell or id hook ya up, 1 of mine is my sig pic though... also there is a Startup Animations thread with lots of good stuff

advanced config does have the options in there, but sometime you still need totalcommander to place it in windows though

Thanks brother. I've been inside that animations thread but they mostly post the welcomehead screens in there. ALso, does the startup gif have to be a certain size (480x640)? I've tried other GIFs before and it didn't work. That's why i was asking for others to share, because I have thus far been unable to get one working...
