At&T Touch Pro and WM Wifi Router

A friend of mine is trying to use WM Wifi router and it connects. But a few seconds later, it says " Disconnected by Remote party".

Any ideas?

she didnt have the Wifi Sharing app and I didnt have it to give to her,
