Helpp the noob plz (TAT).. time displayed incorrectly on the recieved sms
 

Hi can somebody help me with this problem?? T_T

I have htc touch pro. I am currently using Juicy 8 rom.
But regardless of whichever rom I'm using this same problem
always occured.

Whenever I recieve an sms, it displays the wrong time!.

This is just for the sms, and nothing else.
Helllpp..
Its driving me crazy cus I don't know when the messeges are recieved!

I use Sprint and have the same exact problem, however it is not completely consistent, rarely the correct time is displayed.

Have you updated your profile and prl through settings>system? I remember people having the problem in the past and i think that helped the issue.

In your registry navigate to HKLM\Software\OEM\SMS with a tool like totalcommander.
Add...
Name: RecvTimeStamp
DWORD Data: 1
Base: Dec

Then soft reset.
Hopefully this does it for you.

You may also want to check your clock settings and make sure they're set for the right Time Zone.
