how to "compile" a dll from a SYS folder?
Is it possible just to build one dll from a sys folder on a PC? I just need the stock veim.dll and I am having a hard time getting it. If I try to copy it from \windows\ via activesync to my PC, i get access denied. Thanks!

No you can't, you need the original source. DLLs are pretty specific in terms of the symbols they export and address references.
...so long story short: No, you can't. |

Try using Total Commander to copy it to another folder on your PPC, then use ActiveSync to copy it to your PC.

hmm... no luck with anything. resco, total commander, ftp server. I have tried getting it off of a stock sprint touch pro, aftermarket rom touch pro, my own rom sprint touch pro, verizon cooked rom touch pro... all the same results. I am beginning to think this is impossible! plus the new site does not work in my firefox :(

I am downloading qpst, I hear it gives file system access, and I remember using bitpim to change a bunch of files on my old razr after i flashed an altell firmware on it to get OBEX unlocked... :)
