How do I update the OS version?

I have been trying to upload a rom but it wont support my OS version 6.1 21015 on a VZW phone.

Anyone give a n00b some pointers.

Not sure what you mean by "updating your os version". If you are wanting to upgrade to one of these roms you need to unlock your phone.

follow the stickies at the beginning of the cdma touch pro forum. they are at the top and pretty much written where anyone can understand them.
