Just curious as to why people need to put all these symbols in the title of their ROM??? Makes it hard to read IMHO.

Everyone's a critic, I for one love having all of the build information in the title so I don't have to bother checking the thread if it hasn't been updated.

i think its for the consumer. if it stands out to us we will click it and dl it. just another form of subtle marketing, on the other hand it might me to sepate things.

for example
[ROM] [July 14] <!...dcd's hermann ROM 1.11...!> Base [WM6.5] {May 29}beta 0.96 WM6.
ROMJULY14DCC"ShermannROM1.11baseWM6.5...ext whould you click that ?

so to put it in a nut shell, try to catch your eye and seperate things

OP read the sticky again on new threads created in the Upgrade Forums. Unless you are posting a new ROM, Kitchen or Radio otherwise it goes in the General Forum.
