have you tried checking it for bad sectors, every storage card I have that has a lot of stuff on it, I had to do that, and then everything is good. Just plug the phone into your computer as mass storage, go to computer, right click on whatever drive your computer is reading it as, then click properties, click check disk, click start and let it do its thing, only takes a few minutes,

8gb with no prob. It may just take a long time for tf3f to build the music database. Let it sit there where you think its locked up, see what happens.

Media player shows songs in its own library separated into categories represented as folders, but it doesn't change the directory structure of the SD card. In other words, it doesn't create folders and put songs in them. It only appears that way from within Media Player.
