Screen rotation issues?
 

I just got my Touch Pro a couple weeks ago, it was a refurb when purchased. My problem only exists when the keyboard is slid out and I am in the start menu. The icons seem to stretch out and makes it impossible to use. The problem also doesn't happen all the time. The problem doesn't lie in just one ROM either! I have also flashed a couple of Mighty Roms and always flashed back to stock before flashing again.


I am hoping someone can assist me.
The first two pictures are of my phone working fine
the last one is it messed up!

wow, member for a yr, thats a low post count.. not here very often??? lol

so it only happens on the start menu in landscape??

and just fyi, you dont have to fash back to stock b4 reflashing/changing roms..

I originally joined when I had a Palm Treo 800w. That didn't offer me much. I started a new job and was shown the wonderful world of HTC phones and the amazing flashing abilities they were capable of. So I found my new hobby :).

Yes, only in the start menu in landscape mode, EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS FINE!

Wow that's messed up, hahah. Does this happen on WM6.1 ROMs?

If memory serves me correct, it came with stock sprint which would be 6.1. I flashed in hopes it was a botched sprint rom.

You did hard reset after you pulled it out of the box? right?

oo didn't know it started even with stock. That's really odd, I can't think of any hardware issue that may cause this, but at the same time, it can't be software if you flashed several different ROMs. Unfortunately this may turn out to be a issue only a Sprint employee can fix... with a new phone...

It came at the ready to set up your device screen, so I didn't think much of that. I then flashed and hard reset after I flashed a new rom... did I screw up?

I just went back to the stock rom. Sprint 1.03.651.3. Windows Mobile 6.1 and everything seems fine. I am speaking with a sprint rep right now who is telling me how to hard reset >_>.

You should just say you did, what would they know, hahah. Unless you actually need the hard reset, then you probably should, hahah.
