Using a USB mini to charge HTC Touch Pro
 

So...I searched for this on the forums and didn't find it, but I find it hard to believe that it hasn't been posted before but here it goes.... A standard USB 2.0 mini fits inside a HTC USB port and can therefore be used to charge your HTC Touch Pro. It can also be used to transfer data. So, say good bye to the proprietary HTC USB and hello to the everyday mini. :headbang:

extUSB was intended to work with normal USB ports which is awesome. You can also use any USB charger for other brands of phones as well like Motorola or Blackberry. They may charge slower though.

This has been discussed before. Way back in the Vogue and Mogul forums when they first came out. Yeah the HTC 11 pin USB will charge and do data with any mini USB. I'm using a charger from my first 6700 at work. A couple of my coworkers (one with a Tilt and one with a Mogul) use it to charge their phones too. I also have a Motorola charger from an old BT in my gig toolbox in case I need a charge at a gig,
