Sprint HTC TOUCH PRO MightyRom on Verizon Network Help
 

I purchased a used htc touch pro on ebay. Unlocked it and then installed MightyRom 6.5 on it.

I updated the radio (PML file i think) and then tried to activate with *228, option 3 and it tells me I cannot do it.

Ive set the unlock code to 000000 as well.

Ive seen on threads on here that everyone keeps pointing to a thread that I cannot access for some reason. Ive also spent the last 6 hours googling and looking for threads trying to find out what im doing wrong.

Any help would be very appreaciated by now.

Please don't point me to a thread that is either non existant or I cannot read.

The *228 opt 3 to activate non verizon phones on verzion no longer works. It was patched back in April. There still are ways to activate the Sprint TP/Diamond on VZW. One is to call tech support and try to get them to add the ESN onto their pool, another option is to ESN clone (which is illegal, but tutiorals for how to do it can be found)

the thread was shut down, because it involved the *228 option 3 procedure that doesn't work anymore.
