You can force 1x or force EVDO. But it will be a manual process. Or leave it on hybrid and let the phone choose based on signal levels.

The post above is probably the closest answer you are looking for, but I don't believe that will solve your problem. It sounds to me, I am no expert, like your problem is with the arcsoft program itself. I had a similar problem a while back and updating to different arcsoft fixed my problem with hit or miss pic messages. Hope this helps.

There is no problem. All im asking if there was a way to have ur phone in 1x then switch to evdo when u have a picture message or anything. My arcsoft works just fine...........

Yeah, the above poster is exactly right. If there is no problem, then why the h+ll would you want to use 1X over EVDO????? I am stumped.....1X is slower.

maybe he has horrible service at his house? but i dont see why you need to do this when WHEN you can get mms messages WITH 1x?
