How to change the HTC alarm clock's ringtone?

I flashed a new ROM, build in A HTC alarm clock, I love it, but I can't choose my favorite song as ringtone?

make sure its in the correct format. i know the ringtones setting wont pick up certain media files.

copy and paste it in "my documents folder"
