##786# and lost radio =/
 

So I wanted to sell an alltel touch pro but return it back to factory settings. I performed ##786# on NRGZ rom and the reset went through successfully. Problem is, I don't have a radio signal at all. On startup the phone radio is deactivated. Wifi, bluetooth, works but there is a no service indicator. When trying to officially flash to the alltel stock rom via the exe, ppstpatch would hang on my computer and my device would soft reset without ever flashing stock (I extracted the *.nbh to flash stock) but the error persists. No phone service and the phone radio is disabled. On enabling the radio, there is a no service indicator. Did I do something wrong? Is there anyone that can help?

bumping this topic up because I found a radio that works
its a patched radio from china 1.08u but the problem is only voice works
data, text messaging does not work
Is there anyone that can offer a bit of advice about this

no other radio except the patched radio from china will work on my alltel touch pro. What should I do?

yup no go bro =/
its weird hang on lemme attached the patched radio or rather upload it somewhere (rapidshare) that's the only radio that will work
but only voice will work nothing else will (attach radio once uploaded)

do you have access to another computer. i really think you need to flash the official alltel rom. that will update your radio and pri and rom.

I have done that a hundred times
in fact the official alltel rom has been flashed a bit too much still no go
the only radio that works is the attached patched 1.08u radio
I did reflash a sprint shipped rom to perform another ##786# and back to alltel stock and wouldn't you know it
no radio still...so its just sitting up here...chillin...while I grimace with my verizon touch pro =/
so uhm I guess the RTN command really screwed up my phone radio for all intents and purposes -_-;

actually to bump this
i did flash the patched radio and then reflashed the alltel stock rom and checked my settings (MIP default)
and I noticed that it was a default mobile number@mycdma.cn
but even beyond that flashing a new radio with a stock rom does nothing phone still does not function whatsoever
