Wallpaper Sizing
Howdy Geeks,
I tried searching but I couldn't find anything. I'm sure that I'll be directed to a previous post regarding this and will gladly take any lashings. I have a new Fuze and downloaded several VGA wallpapers for it. However, the size when displayed is way too big. Only a portion of the artwork is visible on the screen. I ahve saved them to "my pictures" folder. Is this causing them to lose any formatting? Any ideas? Have a great day, Craig |
Re: Wallpaper Sizing
640x640 is the perfect size for touch pro. that way in landscape mode you don't end up tiling and being ugly. hope it helps
edit: what I do is if I want most of the original image I size it proportionally so that its height is 640 (on the Y axis). when you do that depending on the aspect ratio of the original image you can usually pan when selecting the wallpaper area in the wallpaper utility on the phone to the part you want to see at all times. when you switch to landscape as long as it is wider than 640 you will not get tiling and also end up seeing more of the image along the X axis |
Re: Wallpaper Sizing
480x640 is what its suppose to be though... if you do 640x640, theyimage is a little bloated, when u swutch to landscape youll notice the wallpaper has more viewing area
