Connect to Xbox Live via HTC Touch Pro
 

Has anyone tried to connect to to Xbox Live though there Touch Pro on 3g network? If it has been done are there any problems with lag during game play? Any insight would be great!!!

you really wouldnt want to game via your tp. You can use something called Windows mobile wifi router program . but i cant see it being fast enough to wanna play anything online.

Back in the day, I used my Titan with WMWifiRouter to connect to Xbox Live once just for kicks. It had some lag but it was surprisingly better than I thought it would be and it was actually playable.

Used to do it a ton after Katrina hit, didn't have any internet lines for a while...works well enough to play but nothing you want to use for too long...and you better sit that phone on an AC unit if you don't want it to melt while doing it :)

I have played Call of Duty: World at War using the TP and WiFi Router
it worked like a charm, no lag at all. Comcast went dead for 3 hours so I had to do something.

I've done, but never to actually play a game. WMWifirouter is awesome.

I thought latency would be an issue. Remember that you're carrier might see your data usage spike tremendously and either charge you or convince you to add a tethering plan or else.
