I'll chime in here too...

You don't unlock it from the bootloader, you have to unlock it from a running copy of windows.

If you watch the bandwidth going across the connection to the PPC, a substantial amount of information is transferred before the phone even reboots into bootloader mode. The flash that happens is a dummy flash, nothing actually happens. I've had that flash fail and it still unlocks just fine.

Well, you guys won't believe this but, the replacement phone that I got from Sprint was a refurb that had never been relocked. So, while I was trying to unlock it, it would only flash the bootloader screen, and then get stuck at "loading". I just got my other replacement, and it works like a charm! Have been flashing since my 6700, so I'm no noob...just couldn't figure out why bootloader screen only flashed for a half second.
