Dropped Phone

I dropped my phone last night and this caused the screen to turn gray on the half of the screen (can't see anything). I can still click on icons in the grayed out area as long as I remember what's there. Anyway, I'm going to take it to the sprint store and have them look at it. Long story short I had it flashed to Mighty's Rom and now I need to revert it back since I may need to have it serviced. I got it flashed back to the original sprint Rom, but can't get past the alignment screen. Any thoughts on how to get beyond this page? I need to relock it and can't because of the alignment page.](*,)

Re: Dropped Phone

As long as you have the stock rom flashed you will be fine. Sprint won't look to see if its locked or not.

Re: Dropped Phone

ouch, poor phone. could use a good ol fashioned ruler to measure positions of the other calibration squares and then estimate their positions on bottom of screen........

Ouch i keep reading people "dropping" their phones, on the floor im guessing, and completely losing "everything" well I was out at the lake (4th of july) and my brother had my HTC TOUCH PRO and jumped in the water with it in his pocket, didnt come back on that day but let it dry out and blowdried it, and let it sit overnight, and it came back on with no problem. the water damage indicators turned red, on both device and battery, and luckily it was stil working fine, but TRUE STORY!

Re: Dropped Phone

my phone did the grey vertical line thing without being dropped. one minute it was ok, the next morning waking up, it still on the night table, and 3/4 of the screen was grayed out. replaced under warranty.
