Text Messaging Distribution Groups
 

I organize a game of Texas Hold 'Em with a bunch of my friends maybe twice a month and find myself picking through my address book and trying to remember everyone who i need to send a text to. It seems to me there should be an easy way to make a distribution list for Text Messaging on a phone that can do so many other things.

Is there something that I am missing or are there any better text message management applications out there that would run on a Touch Pro?

+1 for powersms its on my must have app top 10 list. Might not be free but still a must have! One thing I always wonder is when you have the group sms do everyone see the other contacts #'s to or just seem like its coming from that one # to another #? Anybody knows?

I use groupsms, i think i found it on freewarepocketpc.net. It is pretty awesome, it is based upon the groups you create for people in outlook. My dad usually sends out texts to 40-60 people at a time and it goes real quick.

I use this, I it's GroupSMS. I'm not sure if it's the latest verison, but it works for me.

I use to use groupsms too but than found powersms and it was more feature rich! Does so much more than groupsms...I remember a few months ago the company who makes powersms ran a "twitter" special they had powersms,no calls and fake calls for like under $4! Or like 2 bucks a piece. I told everyone about it

PowerSMS is pretty good and it let's you send TM's at a certain time. Handy if you know you need to get out of a meeting... :)
