Re: Autotone cab file

ohhh,so it's like a tuning app to make sure you're singing in tune???

I know there's a metronome app,
and some guitar tuning apps.
Some guitar apps only play the sound,
some pick up the sound and will let you know if it's in tune or not.
So in actuallity, I guess it is here already.

As soon as I get done replying to the rest of the posts,
I'll try to hunt down the developer's link.
But I think it might be a pay app I saw.
Not 100% sure,
if it's free, I'll post it,
if not, no warez from meeeee buddy!!

::List Of Programs For Tune Thingy::

Best three I found are pay apps:
Pay (has "demo" ) -
http://www.4pockets.com/product_info.php?p=52
$29.99
Pay (has free trial) -
http://www.soft32.com/download_79430.html
$19.99
Pay (has free trial) -
http://www.zeta.org.au/~dvolkmer/tuneit.html
$29 austrailian
(website says that's currently $24US dollars, but not sure how accurate that is)
================================================

Freeware one, doesn't look as good,

or sound quite as good, but here's the info:
Freeware -
http://www.frequencytuner.solcon.nl/index.html
I would attach it to the post,
but the source code is available at the website also,
and a few different versions,
figured I'd please everyone and just have them go to the site themeselves
since you'd already be there to check out the program. ;)

Enjoy, sorry it took me so long to reply with the ones that I've found.
I personally would go with one of the pay apps,
you'd pay for iphone apps, so you can't complain. lol.
But they are kinda high priced, but can be quite handy.
If nothing else, just use the trials. ;):D

If it's what codybear is thinking it is, then you have plenty of links from him. If it's what knot believes that it is, it's probably gonna be a while before we see anything

Re: Autotone cab file

I was going off of what Knot posted.
I was assuming that's what it is.

Re: Autotone cab file

What you posted was a tuner, that you tune like guitars to, and you can see if you are singing on pitch, but in the video, they are using autotune, which a lot of "rappers/r&b artists" these days are using, cause it finds your pitch, but it auto-corrects it to the closest pitch on a given scale, to make it sound like you are good at singing haha. but nice finds cody, ill thank you for the time it took to search :)

Actually one of them had a description that it finds the pitch and estimates which one it is and blah blah, same things as the iphone app.
Or atleast that was the description from where I got the links.
Did you read the actual program descriptions? or just the titles like I did the first time I was looking for the programs.

Cody, The I am T-Pain app auto-tunes on the fly. The first app you posted didn't do it on the fly. At least it didn't for me when I tried it. It didn't work well for singing. The Iphone app also let's you sing to his biggest hits, and now they've updated it with more songs.
Cody, think about Cher's song " Do you Believe" that's the effect. The robot sound. There's a voice changer app but it only has three preset and it doesn't do it on the fly.
