Mogul to touch pro
 

Hi,
Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum..But how did some of you guys get sprint to upgrade you to a touch pro?
My son's mogul has been replaced many times and still the same problems.
Sprint has offered an additional $100.00 off, but I don't know if I really like that deal. What do you guys think?

or do what i did with VZW to go from a 6700 to a 6850 tell them he has certian programs for business needs and they no longer support that phone.

If you want to drop $100 or the still unverified $50, start a claim since it's defective and let it hang for a few days then fill out the affidavit and you should get a replacement. (might be a bit fraud...)

Is that $100 off retail plus a 2 year contract extension? If so, forget it. When I received a bad refurb for my last defective Mogul, I dealt with email support for the first time. The best they would do was offer another $150 off (or what they called the web price) if I signed a new contract. I wasn't looking for an upgrade, just the reliable product that I was promised when I bought the Mogul. I called up and worked through the support chain till I finally got upgraded to a TP for free without a contract extension. Frankly though I know there are many here that will argue, the $99 iPhone 3g makes this phone a questionable deal at any price Sprint would see as reasonable.

Do not let them talk you into extending your contract. if you have the warranty you should be upgraded if they run out of 6800s (I was). There is info here about how to check they 6850 availabilty via the web. Sorry I can't find it for you, but opera mobile is only so good :)

btw mogul to TP is a great upgrade, I went from the mda to the mogul to the tp and its the best phone by a mile..so deff upgrade anyway u can

My Mogul had a issue with the USB port....wouldn't charge on a couple different chargers (that worked on my wife's Mogul that she is still using), so I'd say my claim was legit. I just used the Sprint provided website to request a replacement, and they offiered up the Touch Pro. I am sure your comment was not directed at those of us that had a bad device, and didn't ask for an upgrade...it was what was available when I reported the bad device.

Dude it isn't fraud if you pay your insurance and only take it in when something Legitimately goes wrong.

My Mogul stopped charging. I didn't drop it. I didn't tinker with it. I didn't do anything besides plug it in everyday. So I sent in for another mogul. I pay the TEP send me what ya got. They didnthave anymore so they sent me a Mogul.

If you define that as fraud, you need another dictionary.

1st- Read the OP genius, he wanted to know how to get it without having to pay for it and/or if the deal sprint was offering was good.. so he wanted to know if we could tell him how to scam one for a cheaper price or free...

2nd- did i even comment on your situation/claaim? did you even mention it before now? STFU!

3rd- this is how i define TROLL, someone who waits 3 weeks, awakens a pointless thread, then trys to call someone out....

4th- i had to mods, punish if you must, but he kinda asked for it. you have to admit by waiting 3 weeks to reply, kinda makes him an idiot LOL.
