can you force a sync
 

i want to flash another rom. ive rebooted my computer and my tp and it still wont sync. im using vista and sync center which i hate but oh well. any quick ideas, and i dont have a sd card to flash that way. thanks

have you ended the partnership from WMDC...try that and then plug your phone back in...that should work...if not delete the partnership on the phone...

You may want to pick up a SD card. Flashing this way reduces the number of potential problems, the most common being the sync cord coming loose in the middle of the flashing process. Had this happen once, not good.
