Looking for Stock Sprint Opera

Anybody have the install file or cab or the stock sprint Opera. I'm currently running t he Mighty 4 and the Opera that comes on that does not autimatically go to mobile version of websites. Particularly Yahoo mail and Bank of America. I know the stock Opera does, so I would prefer that version better.

you shouldb e able to change it to show in mobile view. check under settings when in opera browser. or just use the IE that comes with it.

We talking about 2 different things. I don't want Opera to be in mobile mode. I want the verson of Opera were certian sites detect you're on a mobile phone and automatically route you to the mobile version of thier site. Here's the difference:

Opera in mobile mode - Rarranges the view off ALL site for better viewing but still provides everything off the site.
Mobile sites - Provide bare essentials for quick phone navigation and loading. Does not provide evrything as the regular ver of the site would. This will happen with Opera still configured in regular mode and not mobile view.

I've had that problem with some opera versions.

Try going to the local address in the browser of "opera:config" look for the "User Agent" setting and set it to 3 then save and restart.

Then go to a web page that was giving you trouble, this fixes it for me.

that should do the trick. Also you might want to edit the custom user agent too. It's in opera:config as well. search this site for "custom user agent".

That didn't work.

If you search for the "custom user agent" string that needs to be manually entered into the custom user agent box, it should work for you. If not then you should be able to find the stock oem sprint opera on this site somewhere. If that fails then flash back to the stock "shipped" sprint rom and pull the opera cab file out of the windows folder. I know it's in there because I got it off my stock rom and I am using it on this rom as we speak. Works flawlessly other than the piss yellow progress bar.
