after using the free WMWifiRouter on Silence's 6.1 Rhodium 3.3 medium ROM, i sometimes have no data accessible to me -- can't sync weather, can't get on opera, no email, etc.

i have to restore a backup in order to get data back -- is anyone having this issue with WMWifiRouter?

Yeah, I've seen this problem on a few ROMs. To fix this without a hardResset is to do the following.
Go to USB to PC connections under settings/Connections.
Change the setting to the opposite of what you want then soft reset, then change them to ActiveSync and Enable Faster.... and softreset. It should now work.

so an issue with WMWifiRouter (wireless) is fixed by changing the USB settings?

does it matter what it is set on first? mine right now is set to Disk Drive.

You should have it set to Activesync and have the box checked to ask me first about usb connection when i connect. This way it doesnt go directly to disk drive mode.

it looks like you prematurely exited WMWifirouter, like forced quit the program with a task manager or reset the phone. doing this in the midle of a data sesion will screw up your settings. an easy fix without hard resetting is to run the program again and connect to the internet, then CORRECtly exit the program via the menus, this should set everything back to normal =)

This works due to the internetsharing. Trust me it works, I had the same issue and so did a few friends here at work.

And as per the liscense agreement on .91 is not to be distributed. Throw the man a bone and buy the software. He produces tons that is full on freeware on xda and this software is well worth what he charges for it

I agree 100%.

I don't pay for a whole lot of software, but WMWifirouter is one I made an exception for.

The latest version is awesome & worth every penny (+ their C.S. is fantastic) & I don't mind one bit paying to help support that.

Quick question does the newest wmwifirouter ver 1.35 works with the sprint touch pro on the stock rom? Is anything else needed to get this running? Or do all I have to do is buy it,install and enjoy it. I myself enjoyed this free program on my mogul but haven't used it on my touch pro yet and I rather buy the newest program.

Oh ok I think I installed that cab when I 1st for my tp! Thanks bro your always a help I'll be hitting thanks when I make it to my laptop. I'm about to go check out that reg hack and make sure I have it set right

Well I checked the reg and the cab was installed so imma buy the program tonight and see if my new hp laptop connects to it. And yea man I only post when I have a question or good input or something funny. Not just to get my post counts up. But don't worry 102 more post and I'll be in vip soon brethren can't wait!
