I go to the official/corporate repair center in atlanta, and they always replace mine with new ones. my touch pro has yet to fail me, but i had to get my instinct replaced once and my IC902 replaced twice.

They still have new pros. I managed to get a April 9 build. Very new. But my screen hue is towards the warm yeller. lol. suks. BUt its new. Also.. my GF pro had the cracked chrome. She called ecare and they sent her a new , got it 2 day delivery. Free too.

I would demand a new one now, or just let them keep sending you refurbs till you get one that is right. Either way, you are entitled to a new phone in great condition for as much as you paid for the damn thing. I'm on my third TP now. My second was a refurb and was in horrible condition. I called retentions and complained and received a new phone in box and got to keep the refurb at no charge. But be nice to them, don't yell. Remember....they have the power!!!! lol

Another refurb came today, this was the 3rd one. The water damage indicator on the inside of the phone was gone, the keyboard sliding mechanism did not slide smoothly, and had to be forced open/closed, and again, bubbling of paint on the battery cover.

They are sending me a 4th refurb.

Ive about had it.

Sad to say but its not considered a phone issue under service and repair, its a cosmetic defect and if you have TEP & ESRP you will not need to pay.. It also depends on how the Eticket was entered into the system cause there are a few selections that it can go under so if entered as broken/cracked housing it will charge you $119. At this time so far all requests for a Touch Pro replacement comes in refurb, sometimes it would depend how many times the system sees requests for replacement and allows us to choose a new Touch Pro. Just some insight from the Sprint Repair side.
