If you have an account w/ ATT that is in good standing, you can call 1-(916)-843-4685, (ATT International Support line), tell them you're going overseas, to Canada, or Mexico, (renember to have a destination in mind and what you intend to do in a foriegn country, (such as go to Mazatlan to see the ruins of the mayan ruins). They will provide you with an unlock code for free.

i got the unlock code from att. i know i can enter it if i had another sim card. but i don't. i'd like to know how to enter it without having another sim card.

Go to \windows\simlock.exe on your device, and run the application. You will be prompted to enter in your unlock code.

i have a sim_MGR

could simlock.exe be anywhere else?

Check "Show all files" in "View Options" under File Manager.

uhm no one else stated this so I will based on the thread title, You dont FUZE is Att's TP no need to unlock it for its own carrier

You need to meet these two condition

1. In contract with att over 6 month

2. Optain an non-att sim card

call att, **don't dial 611! Call the 1800 number on a landline**, get to tech support. Tell them you are going out of state and you want them to unlock the phone cause they charge too much.

You insert the non-att sim card machine ask you to enter code.
Rep give you a code, done!

By doing this won't effect warranty with htc. :)

I bought off a Vodafone HTC Touch Pro, but we don't have that carrier here, is there any way to unlock my phone? I searched the forums but only found the CDMA Walkthroughs for unlocking.. Thanks.
