Re: Softkeys 6.5

Go to XDA & search for "soft key manager"

That's what I use & it works super. There are other ways to do it (I believe advanced config is one), but SKM works super.

Merdin 6.5 right now, but I've used that program on a half dozen different ROM's & it always worked just fine......

ookay, but are you using the new User interface called titanium(windows default),
or manilla(touchflo)?
If it's titanium, it won't be able to be managed by that program.
Answer that question otherwise I can't help ya.

Lol its Merdin:mrgreen:, and i would suggest try using Advance configuration manager, which can be found just by searching on this site, there is a setting in there for the soft keys, i do not use titanium so i cannot test it right now, hope it works.

Re: Softkeys 6.5

yeah, can't be used by the other programs.
if you use chome editor, you can for the right softkey,
but you gotta make sure to save it in the registry before exiting the program,
then let it sit for about a minute and then soft reset.
I'll be hopefully finishing up somethings tomorrow,
and a walkthrough for changing the left and right softkeys in all of the titanium plugins is included in that list. so check my faq tomorrow or saturday-link in signature
(it might be late at night before I finish it, that's why it could be saturday)

I'm using Merdin's 6.1 ROM and the soft keys stick with advanced config....just go to "menu" then "more settings" and then "key mapping."

Just make sure to hit "done" and then soft reset
