New verizon radio v1.03.09 is botched.
 

Hey guys just letting you know I updated to the new radio, and could no longer get service in my house or even receive calls.
My Girlfriends phone showed 3 bars in the house, while mine showed no service.
I even tried reprogramming and updating the PRL.
After I flashed back to the original radio, everything is normal now I have 3 bars in the house.
It seems Verizon breaks more than they fix, my advice is to avoid using the new radio and stick with the older version.

Weird...I have been using the new Verizon radio with no problems with data or service for a couple days now.... Don't really see a change so I'm flashing back to Telus....

New Verizon radio nuked my data abilities, on the phone anyway. Switched back to Telus and got data back, switched back to original Verizon radio and had data, switched to the newest and once again, no data.

Yea I couldn't get data or receive calls. Although I could make them and program the phone without issue. Flashed back to the 1.03.03v and haven't had any issues.

I guess it only works on my TP? Getting fastest download speed with this radio and I have tried others.

It must. I get the best results with the U.S. Cellular radio in D.C.

No problem here in DFW area. It is better than the Telus in the extreme weak area in Downtown skyscraper and the call quality was better in my house.

Working great here in Milwaukee WI. I got rid of the telus radio for this verizon radio, and couldnt b happier.

I got the same signal in my house and better signal in town, but my battery seemed to tank a lot faster (especially with data on). Once I buckle down and get one of those 3000mA batteries I might switch back... lol.

Another vote for the new Verizon radio in Milwaukee. Telus was also my #2.
