I Just Got This Comp That Has Vista And My Ruu Isnt Working To Flash The Energy Rom Is There A Diff Ruu For Vista? Since Its Oonly An Nbh File And Not The Normal Included Exe File Im Assuming I Have To Dump This Into The Ruu File

The RomUpgradeUtility would be the same, you probably after fixing your WMDC program. Windows Mobile Device Center, get your device connected to that, the your RUU will work fine. I'm @ work and don't have a link for WMDC but you can search for it...

Yep! The only real difference between flashing with XP and Vista (my laptop dual boots both), is that XP needs Active Sync 4.5, and Vista needs the latest Windows Mobile Device Center.

Both are of course free from Microsoft, and as previously suggested, you need to let your phone fully connect to Windows Mobile Device Center on your Vista machine before flashing anything.

there shouldn't be any problem at all, but what i would try an do would be to pm the chef.

I use Vista Ultimate and I have no problems at all flashing roms..... I don't use the WMDC I just put the phone in bootloader screen and then use the update utility. Works everytime.

You don't have to use WMDC but you do have to have it installed. Download it Here.

i had this same problem. in this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...69545&page=189 post #1888 he has a file and instructions. it worked for me, hope this helps
