Streaming radio on TP (ASX format)

I have a link to an out of state radio station's online stream but I can't seem to get it to play on my TP. The link is

http://provisioning.streamtheworld.com/asx/KRBZFM.asx

I've tried using the Open URL option in WMP as well as putting it into IE and just saving the ASX file to my storage card and opening it. When I open the file directly or open it in IE I get a "Cannot play any items in the playlist" error.

When I check the error log I get "Cannot play the file. The file is either corrupted or the Player does not support the format you are trying to play."

Is there another player I can use to stream this station or maybe a codec pack for WMP mobile that will work on the TP? I'm running the latest MightyRom fyi.

i was able to stream KRBZFM in kinoma player using http://provisioning.streamtheworld.com/pls/KRBZFM.pls

i would imagine that url would also work in TCPMP or GSPlayer

Just tried it in CorePlayer and it worked.

TCPMP gives me an error when I try to run it. I hear it doesn't work with a lot of 6+ ROMS.

GSplayer opened the .pls file just fine but after it finished buffering it just crashed with no error message

I did however get it running with Kinoma FreePlay after a huge pain trying to find a way to stream without buying the full version. Thanks! It's not elegant but it works.

*EDIT* In case anyone is interested. The trick to getting the stream running in Kinoma FreePlay was to not use the "Open URL" options. If you do this it will just ask you to buy the full version. Instead I had to save the .pls file to my storage card and scan the card. It will add all your media to the library then just find the .pls file and add it to your favs. After this you can start it up in just a couple of clicks.

apparently it's an MP3 stream over http. (http://208.80.54.47:80/KRBZFMCMP3) havent seen many stations do their stream the way this station is doing theirs...

Winamp on my desktop played that link just fne, but I couldn't get my mobile Windows Media Player to play it.

Which do you like more Church of Lazlo or Afentra Big Fat Morning Buzz?

I'm in KC... didn't listen to them until lately, but I gather they were in Seattle for a bit.

The Church of Lazlo :D I don't get up early enough to listen to Afentra but when they were in Seattle they all three were on the same show together and it was damn good.

Made a ton of friends from KC on a site they used to run and got to meet one in person recently. Was awesome.
