GPS question?????
 

Ok so i tried searching for the answer to this question and am not seeming to have any luck, so if it was already answered, i apologize. I was just wondering if my service is temporarily suspended bc im not able to pay my bill till next friday, the 19th of june, would i stil be able to use the gps features such as telenav. I drive a considerable amount for work and i really need to have access to it. When the transmission goes in the car, kinda have to fix that first, before paying the cell bill, lol. I really appreciate any and every response. have a good one

if your service is suspended, you'll not be able to use telenav as i beleive you need a data connection for telenav to work.
now if you had tomtom or garmin or something similar you'd still be able to use it

thanks for the quick response, of the two options you mentioned, do they cost anything to use or are they free? also ive read somehting about this program called amaze, do you know if that would work?

Any program that does not use cell service to partially determine you're location will work. I use TomTom and have a backup Bluetooth GPS adapter for kicks.

Is your service already suspended? If not you can call 611 and ask to do a post-dated payment, which will keep you from service interuption, and let you pay on the 19th, or 20th after a deposit clears or whatever. Even if it is supspended already, call and ask for some help, it cant hurt.
