HTC Dialer Vs. Iconsoft Phonex Dialer- Battery

Does consuming a lesser memory footprint equate to eating up less battery? When I install Iconsoft's PhoneX I get about 3-4% more free memory. I actually like the dialer and the interface, but I'm curious to see if anybody has experience about the battery life on the TOUCH PRO.

*I already have the dialer- not trying to get it for free...by this post
