Text Message Recipient Address Suggesting from 2 different locations-Using SSK2.1-6.5
 

when i am creating a new text message and start typing the name of the person i would like to send it to, i am getting suggestions from 2 places.

at the top right under the recipient address it drops down a box with a list of possible matches, then down at the bottom above the soft key it give me the same options that i can scroll up and down through.

the prolem is when i choose one or the other it usually doesnt work right and sends the text message to the number 1.

any ideas?

I am having this issue to I think it is a 6.5 issue, I started having the problem when I went to 6.5

if your running a custom rom like 6.5 try reflashing.found that sometimes the pogram doesn't run the whole way thru and make sure you hard reset after flashing.

I have flashed a bunch of time, tried different sips nothing seems to get rid of it unless I turn off name suggestion but then that turns off both suggestions.

Edit: Found the answer myself, go to HKLM\System\Inbox\RecipientAutocomplete\MaxSuggest ions
Change this key to 0
