Washed out photos? Is there a fix?

2 Attachment(s)
Was taking photos today while kayaking and god they all suck only due to the fact they all look washed out. Why do these phone makers consistently release phones with cameras when they are borderline pointless to use? :( Or maybe I am just untrained and there are secret ways to making these 3.2MP cameras work like actual 3.2MP cameras?

Attached are some sample photos from today...

My pictures never looked like that.. maybe your camera/lenscover is dirty?

Change your setting to suit the type of pic/exposure you need (play with the white balance and the brightness). The auto feature is crap. I change mine to correct lighting and it gives better results.

Yea i was gonna say white balance, but d00d, that pic looks awesome on my screen. Maybe its your eyes? The do look a little 'fuzzy' but thats on the lens. And taking pics of your crotch in white shorts will make anyone blind....

Not to be rude, but did you buy the phone for the camera? It is a phone by the way. But since the pics you show are a little washed out, go on google and search for touch pro camera tweaks, there are many, good luck.
